A Quiet Week to Catch Our Breath

But first, a lengthy letter ± update

Hey folks,

I want to let you know that I’ll be stepping back from making new posts this upcoming week. Sophie and I are taking some much-needed family time out before the new school year kicks into gear (it's only a month away). I won’t be publishing new content for the next week, but I will be working quietly and intentionally behind the scenes—gathering more ideas, grounding myself in healthy rhythms, and continuing to shape The Forest is Calling.

Truthfully, I’m deeply feeling the wear and tear of frantically trying to rebuild my writing career while juggling the intensity of single parenting, my ongoing medical and financial stress, plus this full rebrand. I’ve been pushing hard—pouring all my energy into new projects, digital perks, illustrations, launch prep, and member materials—and I can feel it all catching up to me.
