Going Home
We should get back tomorrow

I'm honestly too exhausted to tell you about everything we've encountered so far, but I wanted to at least let you know that we left Cedar Rapids, Iowa yesterday morning and made it to Atlanta, Illinois last night. This morning after our Travelodge breakfast, we'll head to Indiana and Kentucky, before making one final trek tomorrow back to Tennessee.
We've got 5 to 6 hours of driving ahead of us today. I wish I could cut it down to 4 because I'm feeling so stiff and sore, but that will make tomorrow impossible. Sophie has been hoping to make more interesting stops on the way home, so I will try to take her to see some of the world's oddest big things in Casey, Illinois. Like the world's largest rocking chair.
When we get home tomorrow, I fear I'm going to want to sleep for a week!

Fantastic photo! And sounds like you had a great, though tiring, trip coming back.
You really pushed yourself to make this trip happen. I wish you a speedy recovery.
