Good Friday
Another brief update
Sophia and I are home today, still lying low as I'm not over COVID, yet. There's no school today in our area, because it's the South, I suppose. I don't believe we ever had Good Friday off from school in Minnesota, but here in Tennessee, it seems to be the norm.
It's a little depressing, still being sick when I've got plenty to do around the apartment and still a list of tasks for Sophie’s upcoming birthday and party. I was originally planning to bake cupcakes and a small banana bread cake for her school birthday celebration and her home birthday but I am looking into ordering those things from the grocery store instead. I'm afraid I'm going to be too exhausted to manage baking even once my symptoms are gone. (Fingers crossed they'll be gone soon!)
We were supposed to see the new Mario movie with gift cards Sophie was sent for AMC, but we'll probably have to wait until next week after Sophie’s birthday to consider it. I'm just working on getting more medicine like mucinex and more kleenex, etc, as I've been going through those supplies heavily all week.
Hopefully I'll begin feeling well enough to make a better update before Sophie’s birthday on Thursday. I'll keep you posted.
