One day at a time
I'm too exhausted for a proper post, but it feels weird to end the evening without making an update.
Recently I mentioned how I reached out and directly asked someone for financial assistance… how frightening and awkward that was. Now, I'm in the stage of regretting that I said anything because it's been about a week with no word. I don't know if they haven't seen my message, if they're thinking about it, or ignoring it. All possibilities are valid. I knew it was a longshot.
At any rate, I'm doing what I can. I was so grateful to have a couple of orders come in for the craft kits! I packed up two today and will pack up the other tomorrow morning.
Everything else feels like chaos lately. I'm frankly exhausted trying to juggle it all, but I'm hopeful, too.

Both options help to directly support me and Sophie through a rough summer while I'm waiting for some good news from social security about my SSDI application.
Fingers crossed that these efforts will get me closer to filling the current rent shortage (about $465).
