Waiting on Winter Storm Fern
Possibly...
It's been an exhausting week and I'm ready for the weekend! I imagine that many of you who live in the US are also preparing for winter storm Fern. It's uncertain how much our part of Tennessee will be affected, but there's a winter storm watch in effect tomorrow morning through Sunday evening.
So far, we're predicted to have icy roads that may last a few days due to freezing temperatures, and there could possibly be power outages, so when I stopped at the store yesterday morning to grab a loaf of bread for peanut butter sandwiches, I discovered that the shelves were already pretty bare.
I've been trying to take care of as many medical appointments and errands as possible this week in anticipation of the storm—just one more busy day ahead, and then I should have more time to rest. That sounds pretty amazing right now, honestly. I'm particularly tired this morning.
Miraculously, I'm much closer to paying rent than I was a few days ago. Now, I am only short by $155, a number that seems much more attainable. Though I'm still frustrated with myself for not having things sorted out when it comes to getting back on my feet.
Whenever I've been home this week I've also been busy working on those craft kits, and fortunately I've found that work enjoyable even when I've been tired. That makes me hopeful.
I wish I had more time for a longer post right now, but I've got to get going to more appointments, so I'll cut this short and just say thank you for all of your encouragement and support. It's gone an especially long way during an exhausting week.
Stay safe and warm this weekend 💗

I hope members of our little community can cover the remaining rental balance. You and Sophie stay warm and safe.
